Meet this week's City Face, Abby Hartley.
 
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? If not a lifelong resident, tell me what brought you here.
I am a lifelong resident of the city.
 
 
Are you married, have kids? Tell me about your family.
I am not married, but love spending time with my niece AJ and nephew Vance.
 
 
What about pets?
My family has a lot of pets, but I am a fur momma to Beau and Gracie, my dogs, and Emmett, my cat.
 
 
Where do you work and what do you do there?
I work at Bdubs and Bridgeport Country Club, working as a waitress.
 
 
What are your hobbies/favorite past times?
My hobbies include photography, reading, writing and napping. 
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot? 
My favorite place in Bridgeport is City Park because there is always so much going on there. 
 
 
What do you like about Bridgeport … why is this a good place to live?
I love Bridgeport because the whole community is like a big family. I love the tight-knit community. 
 
 
One – or more – of your favorite memories of something that took place in Bridgeport ...
My favorite memory in Bridgeport is always Light Up Night. It's my favorite night of the year. 
 
 
What is your favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?
My favorite place outside of Bridgeport is Thomas, WV. It is my favorite small town. 
 
How about your favorite place outside of WV?
My favorite place outside of the state is Turks and Caicos. 
 
 
What are some of your favorite things? Food/restaurant? Favorite color? Music genre/artist?
My favorite color is blue. My favorite artist is Kehlani and my favorite restaurants are Bdubs, Bridgeport Country Club (naturally) and El Rincon. 
 
What is your best childhood memory?
My favorite chilldhood memories are the ones I have in Bradford, Pa. with my Nanny and her sisters. 
 
Interesting fact about you and/or something you would like to add…
I guess the interesting thing about me is that I'm kind of working three jobs. In addition to the work places listed above, I'm currently teaching and going to college. I am so busy!
