This week's City Face is Donna Starkey Meet her and her family and learn why she loves Bridgeport, WV here:

Tell us about you and your family (and pets) and how long you've lived here in Bridgeport.
Hi! My name is Donna Starkey. I've lived in Bridgeport for the last 20 years. I graduated from Roosevelt Wilson (RW) High School. I became a pharmacy technician in 2000 and I operated as co-owner of a local pharmacy, The Prescription Shop, for four years. I have three children. My daughter Breanna is 14 years old. She is in 8th grade at Bridgeport Middle School. Breanna takes vocal lessons and has performed at local events, such as the Pickleball tournament in October 2021. She is the youngest of two oldere half siblings: Jeffrey Parsons and his wife Tiffany of Bridgeport and Ashley Glass of Shinnston. I also have eight beautiful grandchildren, including a set of twin boys: Abigail, Jade, Aiden, Maxum, Ezra, Elias, Mason, and Madalynn. I have two small dogs, Rudy and Zoe, a cat Bella and a bird Felix.

At the present, I do not work. I get to stay home and act as a chauffeur for my daughter and her friends ... lol. It also gives me the time to spend with my grandchildren.

What are some of your favorite pasttimes and hobbies?
My favorite pasttime is spending time with my family. I love having cookouts and celebrating the 4th of July. I also enjoy decorating, especially at Christmas time.

Do you have any goals - personal or professional - either shortterm or longterm?
