City Faces in Different Places

I was raised to be service and community minded. I recently had the pleasure of getting to know more about Randy Kerns while serving on a committee for the North Central West Virginia Airport. I have been friends with his wife Vicki for years but never really had the opportunity to talk to Randy in depth. Please take a moment to get to know my friend Randy.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Twenty-three years
Where are you originally from? Sardis, WV…graduated from Victory High School in 1972 and he attended Fairmont State University.
Are you married? Yes, to Vicki. She is originally from Philippi and graduated from Phillip Barbour High School in 1971.
Children? Two girls - Miranda, 22, works as a phlebotomist at Salem Family Medicine and lives in Bridgeport. She was recently married to Josh Carpenter and is a 2009 BHS grad. Jessica, 21, is a student at Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, TN. She is obtaining her Master of Business and Accounting degree. She is a 2010 BHS grad.
What is your favorite color? Blue
Where do you work? United Security Agency, President and Owner since 1984
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Oliverio’s Ristorante
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Blackwater Falls
Favorite place outside of WV? Randy enjoys relaxing at Myrtle Beach. They own a home there which makes it easy to visit. Randy feels like the weight of the world is off his shoulders when he is a the beach.
Favorite musical group? Randy listens to many types of music but likes country the best
Pets? Two Havanese dogs – Laya and Bella
Hobbies? Randy loves to go flying and play golf
Interesting Fact about You? Randy has held a pilot's license for 27 years with several designations.
