City Faces in Different Places

By Michelle Duez on February 16, 2014 from City Faces

Bridgeport is a special community.  There is a strong sense of family and many choose to live here after college. The Greater Bridgeport Convention and Visitors Bureau's newest staff member is a BHS graduate and plans to plant her own family roots here.  Please take a moment to meet Hannah Cantrell.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? 14 years, Hannah is a 2009 BHS graduate.

Where are you originally from? Hannah was born in Huntington and lived there until she was eight.  Her parents are from McDowell County.

Are you married? Hannah is engaged to Kenny Edwards, also a 2009 graduate of BHS.

What is your favorite color? Purple

Where do you work? Hannah is a Digital Media Specialist for the Greater Bridgeport Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? Hinkle and Deegan Lakes. She and Kenny love to fish at the lakes.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  The WOW Factory in Morgantown.

Favorite place outside of WV? St. Augustine, Florida

Favorite musical group? Mumford and Sons

Hobbies?  Reading, DIY projects, fishing in the summer at Hinkle and Deegan Lakes, and she is a huge movie buff.

Interesting fact about you?   Hannah knows the words to almost every song in the Disney Princess movie collection and still watches the movies on a regular basis. Kenny and Hannah met in the fifth grade at Johnson Elementary and were close friends since that time until they started dating in college.
