I've been a member of the GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman's Club for twenty years. One of the best parts of being a club woman is getting to know the other club members. Jennifer Bell has been a member of the GFWC Bridgeport Juniors for several years. She is a mom, volunteer and local business owner and I'm proud to call her friend. Please take a moment to get to know Jennifer.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Almost 18 years, since fall of 1996
Where are you originally from? Charleston, WV. She was in the first full graduating class at Capital High School, 1992. She went to WVU, majoring in physical education.
Are you married? Yes, to Jason Bell. They just celebrated sixteen years on March 8th.
Children? Yes, Mallory, 8, and Ashton, 6. They attend Johnson Elementary School
What is your favorite color? Red
Where do you work? Jen is the CEO of the Bell Corporation, aka a stay at home mother.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? City Park. Jen likes the trails to walk and run.
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? New River Gorge. Jennifer and her husband are B.A.S.E. organizers for Bridge Day. They were recently featured on the Destination America Network and Discovery Canada for Jason’s human catapult that he designed and built.
Favorite place outside of WV? Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland because of its spectacular scenery and phenomenal waterfalls.
Favorite musical group? Mumford & Sons and 80s on 8 is set on her XM channel.
Hobbies? Jennifer loves to run and her family is her focus. Mallory is in dance at Annabel Timms Dance Studio and Ashton plays basketball.
Interesting fact about you? Jennifer loves to trampoline and sky dive. She has traveled all over Europe and the Middle East for B.A.S.E. jumping and her business Vertical Visions. She is also the Vice President of Johnson Elementary PTA.
