City Faces in Different Places

By Michelle Duez on March 30, 2014 from City Faces

This morning it was 34 degrees and snowing but that didn't stop several die-hard fisherman from heading to get the big catch at Hinkle and Deegan Lakes.  This morning I had the pleasure of meeting one of these fisherman.  Please take a moment to meet my new friend
Nathan Lanham.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Since he was five, he moved here in 2002.

Where are you originally from?  Clarksburg, from the Broad Oaks neighborhood.

Family?  Parents are Walt and Angie Lanham.  Walt is a RWHS grad, class of ‘82, and Angie attended BHS, class of ‘88.  Nathan's older sister, Johanna Garrett, lives in North Carolina.  Nathan’s grandparents are Greg and Janet Cyphert, Gene Randolph and Frances and Walter Lanham.  Gene Randolph was the BHS boys basketball coach for many years.
What is your favorite color? Blue

Where do you go to school? Nathan is a sophomore at Chestnut Mountain Ranch in Morgantown.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? Hinkle and Deegan Lakes because of the great fishing.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? The Monongahela River in Morgantown where he enjoys fishing.

Favorite place outside of WV?  Myrtle Beach

Favorite musical group?  Eminem and other rap artists

Pets? Three dogs -Bandit, Mandy and Raven (his best friend) and two cats - Cody and Leo.

Hobbies? Fishing and roller skating

Interesting fact about you?  His grandparents, Frances and Walter Lanham own Skateworld.  Nathan used to be a competitive roller skater.
