City Faces in Different Places

Bridgeport schools always rank among the highest in the state. We are fortunate to have teachers and administrators that work hard to give our children the best education. Its the students that make the grade and this week I'd like you to meet MacKenzie Kress. She is a straight A student and in the gifted program. Please take a moment to meet my friend MacKenzie.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? MacKenzie has lived in Bridgeport almost ten years.
Where are you originally from? Born in Fairmont, lived there almost four years. .jpg)
Family? Mackenzie is the daughter of Ted and Terri Kress. Ted is an optometrist and the owner of Bridgeport Eye Care. Her sister Miranda is in the 6th grade at BMS and is on the BMS cheer squad.
What is your favorite color? She likes them all.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Oliverio’s Ristorante, salmon penne.is her favorite dish.
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Morgantown, MacKenzie attended the Governor's School for Math and Science summer camp and met many incredible people from all over the state.
Favorite place outside of WV? Aruba is Kenzie's favorite place outside of West Virginia. She thinks its beautiful, likes its festive feel, enjoys meeting all sorts of people and likes the many things to do and see in Aruba.
Favorite musical group? She likes alternative and rap. Arctic Monkeys is her favorite band.
Pets? Yes, a dog named Sadie.
Hobbies? Contemporary dance. MacKenzie dances for Fire and Ice Fusion. She is on their competitive dance hip hop team.
Interesting fact about you? MacKenzie is Student Body President at BMS. She is also teaching herself HTML code.
