City Traffic Delay Saturday Evening in Downtown Area

FROM THE BRIDGEPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and detours in the City of Bridgeport on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. due to the Summer Kickoff event.
U.S. Route 50 (Main Street) will be closed between Virginia Avenue and Philadelphia Avenue during the event. Officers will be directing traffic, and detour signs will be posted throughout the area.
To avoid delays, please plan ahead and consider using alternate routes during these hours.
