The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center will show two free movies:

At 4 p.m. is Hotel Transylvania. The 2012 animated comedy about Count Dracula's resort for monsters, is a FREE community screening sponsored by WYK Associates. Bring the kids or grandkids, settle into a historic theater and laugh along with a roomful of neighbors at slapstick that director Genndy Tartakovsky drew in the exaggerated style of hand-drawn cartoons. Tartakovsky, the creator of Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack, set out to make these classic monsters funny, with Adam Sandler's Dracula leading a cast that includes Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Kevin James and Steve Buscemi.

At 9 p.m. will be John Carpenter's Halloween (1978), sponsored by The Twisted Spoke and L&L Auvil Insurance Agency. It is a film built for a dark room full of people-- the patient stalking shots, the figure behind the hedge and that synthesizer theme all building tension while a whole theater holds its breath together.

The ZOMBIE PROM will take place 8-10:00 p.m.

Arrive before 8 p.m. for a special presentation you won't want to miss!

Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume, bring your friends, and get ready for a spooktacular night of music, dancing, and Halloween excitement!

The Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library and the Waldomore will host a Trunk or Treat and Jack-o’-Lantern Contest.
The Jack-o’-Lantern Contest is from 5–8 p.m. with winners announced at 8 p.m. Trunk or Treat takes place 6–7:30 p.m.
Bring your already-carved pumpkin to the Waldomore between 5 and 6 p.m. to enter the contest. Battery-operated candles will be provided, and all ages are welcome to participate.

It's all part of the City of Clarksburg’s new Halloween Festival, so make plans to spend the evening downtown and enjoy all the spooky fun happening throughout the city.
