Lovingly known as "Santa Gene," Gene Eubank touched hearts when he faced a battle with cancer early this year. Both he and his wife Vera were seemingly on the road to recovery, but ultimately Gene lost his battle with the dreaded disease. 
 
Referred to by many as "The Real Santa," Gene served many holiday seasons at Meadowbrook Mall and subsequently at other venues.
