Emergency responders were on the scene this weekend to successfully execute a water rescue in the area.
According to a social media post from the Masontown WV Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page, they responded with their Swift Water Team Saturday in Bruceton Mills. The call was to extract an individual who was injured from Big Sandy Creek.
Officials were able to bring the patient safely to land. Once there, aid was rendered to effectively treat the individual.
Other emergency response units that assisted in the rescue included the Bruceton Brandonville Volunteer Fire Department, the Bruceton Community Ambulance Service, and the Monongalia County EMS.
