Frankie's Furry Friends: Hogs for Dogs - One of HSHC's Largest Fundraisers - is Set for Saturday

By Frankie Michelle Dennison on June 15, 2016 from Frankie's Furry Friends

On Saturday June 18, 2016, over 1000 bikers and animal lovers will ride in the 15th Annual Hogs for Dogs Dice Run to benefit the Humane Society of Harrison County.  Hogs for Dogs is one of our largest and most important annual fundraisers in which bikers rally together to raise money for homeless animals and raise awareness regarding the unfortunate existence of animal abuse and neglect in our local communities.

Signups for the ride are from 10 am to Noon at Kickstands Bar & Grill at 3200 Junkins Ave in Clarksburg, WV. Cost is $20 per rider and $5 per passenger. T-shirts to commemorate the ride will be for sale for $20, as well as we will be promoting some raffle items. The after party resumes at Kickstands Bar & Grill with music being provided by Bad Mother Trucker.

Kickstands Bar & Grill will also be hosting the Bike Night on Thursday June 16th, 2016. Food will be donated from Pizza Hut and KFC. Come and listen to live music and win prizes!  You may do early registration at http://www.hshcwv.org/hogs-for-dogs-dice-run.

We would like to thank our sponsors who make this event possible: B&B Harley Davidson, Kickstand’s Bar & Grill, DeLallo, Lamar, Thunder Roads Mid-Atlantic, Rock105.7 & Froggy Country.

Since 1990, the Humane Society of Harrison County has offered shelter to homeless animals, reunited countless families with lost pets, helped thousands of animals find homes, provided financial assistance to pet owners to have their pets spayed/neutered and provide medical treatment to injured and sick animals. We provide humane education to area students, pet therapy to senior citizens and behavioral counseling for pet owners. We are a 501c3 non-profit rescue. Visit our website today for more information – www.hshcwv.org. Also visit the Hogs for Dogs Facebook page at Hogs4DogsDiceRunWV.
