Holiday Weekend ATV Accident Leaves Woman Dead

On July 4, 2025, Upshur County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of 943 Mt. Nebo Roard in Upshur County regarding an ATV crash with injury. The victim, Patricia L. Campbell, 65, of Ravenna, OH, was pronounced deceased on scene.
The investigation determined that the victim was not wearing a helmet, the ATV rolled over, ejected the victim. The investigation is ongoing.
The Upshur County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the West Virginia State Police, Upshur County EMS, and Ellamore Fire Department.
