Investigation Ongoing as Area Police Discover Body

Law enforcement officials in Marion County have confirmed that a body was found Saturday afternoon in Fairmont in an area underneath the Bellview Bridge.
As of this time details are limited. There was no word on the gender of the body, or the condition of it.
Multiple media outlets have reported that there have been several bodies found in Marion COunty during the month of June. WDTV reported four bodies have been found, while WBOY reported three bodies have been found. WDTV's report said they were told they do not believe there is a danger to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
