Meadowbrook Mall Evacuated Due to Gas Leak

At 7:32 p.m., residents were alerted that there is an ongoing emergency incident at the Meadowbrook Mall and people were asked to avoid the area for the rest of the evening. The incident involved a gas leak on Meadowbrook Road. Though there is no immediate threat to the public, the mall was evacuated out of an abundance of caution. The call came in to Harrison County 911 just before 7 p.m. In addition to Harrison County Office of Emergency Management, Bridgeport Fire Department and Bridgeport Office of Emergency Management responded to the scene.
