New Harrison County Grocery Store Up and Running

A national retail chain has opened its second grocery store in Harrison County this calendar year.
The new DG Market, or Dollar General Market, opened in recent weeks. In fact, it held a grand opening on Sept. 7. It is located at 647 
Wilsonburg Road, which is just outside the Clarksburg City limits.

The opening comes on the heels of a DG Market opening in West Milford. That store was a relocation and upgrade of a previous Dollar General store in the southern Harrison County community.
It also opens shortly after another Dollar General store opened up along Route 19 in Clarksburg. That store, initially stated to be a DG Market, is the standard Dollar General format.
DG Market differs from Dollar General in that its primary items are grocery items. There is meat, produce, and standard grocery store items as its main focus. Dollar General offers food items, but in a limited capacity by comparison.
The new DG Market is located directly across the street from the 7 Eleven. It is also a BP station on the site across the roadway.
