PHOTOS: JES 1st Grade Presents Wee Sing America

The combined 1st grade classes of Johnson Elementary School presented the annual Wee Sing America program Thurs., May 18. Parents, grandparents and other guests enjoyed hearing the students sing loud and proud about the USA. Student narrators took the audience through historical periods and even recited famous quotes of forefathers to include George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. A dance number featured "The Yankee Doodle Boys." Other numbers included "God Bless America," "Yankee Doodle Dandee," "Working on the Railroad," "God Bless the USA," and others.
