The West Virginia University men's basketball team defeated Wheeling, 80-54, in an exhibition at Hope Coliseum on Sunday in Morgantown.
Regular season play begins Tuesday, Nov. 4, when the Mountaineers host Mount St. Mary's. Game time is 7 p.m.
