Report: WVU Hoops Player to Enter Transfer Portal

According to Eersports, West Virginia men's basketball forward Taj Thweatt intends to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal and will leave the
program. Thweatt reached out to EerSports to share the news this morning, while multiple sources within the WVU program confirmed the move. The 6-foot-7 sophomore has played in three games this year for a total of ten minutes.

Thweatt signed with the Mountaineers as one of the top players out of the state of New Jersey in the Class of 2020. He averaged over 17 points and seven rebounds his senior season, earning South Jersey Player of the Year honors.
