Spirit Halloween Store Open at Meadowbrook Mall

Featuring spooky decor and costumes for anything your imagine can conjure up, Spirit Halloween is open at Meadowbrook Mall.
Located in the former Elder Beerman - 2700 Meadowbrook Mall, accessible near the Food Court entrance - the store is spacious. Every nook and cranny is filled with all things Halloween including animatronics, party supplies, props, accessories and a massive costume selection.
Manager Eric Marks said the store is selling a good mix of costumes – everything from superheroes to princesses to zombies and other scary characters.
“In previous years, there has been one or two costumes that were particularly popular – clowns or copyrighted characters – but this year, there doesn’t seem to be one costume more popular than anything else."
Besides the shopping, there are some fun, seasonal attractions within the store.
“We have an in-store experience set up,” Marks said. “This year, our theme is Halloween Factory. You can take pictures in different frames – like 'Employee of the Month,' etc. We change out animatronics regularly for picture ops.”
Walt Disney’s Haunted Mansion, The Adams Family and Cruella Deville are three new additions to the store’s copyrighted items.
Spirit Halloween is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through October and possibly early-November. As time draws nearer to Halloween, those hours will be expanded, Marks said.
The store offers full refunds on items up to Oct. 22. After that, sales are final.
