Structure Fire Kills One; Investigation is Under Way

According to MetroNews, one person was killed in a structure fire Wednesday near the border between Monongalia County and Preston County.
Crews from the Masontown and Brookhaven Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the structure fire with entrapment just before noon along Snake Hill Road. The crews arrived to find flames coming from a large storage building next to the main residence and were able to get the fire under control within minutes of their arrival.
