The Grapevine: Taking a Look at Longhorn Restaurant

By Rosalyn Queen on March 16, 2023 from The Grapevine

This past week individuals gathered at the Longhorn Steakhouse along Lodgeville Road and Tolley Drive in Clarksburg for the grand opening.  I had the opportunity to sit down with Patrick Safran and Cindy Kramer, representatives of Longhorn, and discuss items of interest to the public.

The restaurant is decorated in a western motif with much interest on the Longhorn.  It has an open atmosphere that enhances guests to partake of friendliness.  It wants to partake of a family atmosphere and focus on feeding the family.

Approximately 500 applications were received when the word got out that Longhorn was coming and would be hiring. Eighty individuals were hired and Safran and Kramer had nothing but praise for the employees.

Safran emphasized that all foods are prepared fresh and never frozen.  The menu carried such items as steak, chicken, and fish.  There is a special children’s menu and an $8.99 lunch menu is featured daily.  There is no buffet and they do not have areas for meetings.  They do prepare take outs.

The Longhorn management and employees will focus on being a part of the community and working with non-profit groups in the area.

The word is out that Longhorn is open and ready to cater to the families in our area. Plan on stopping in and talking to the management and employees and enjoying a family atmosphere.

Stay healthy, take care and until next week “Now You Have Heard It Through The Grapevine.”
