Tickets Remain for Almost Heaven Barn Masquerade Ball

By Julie Perine on February 07, 2025

Angela and Chad Holt and their daughter Alexus established Almost Heaven Barn on Saltwell Road as primarily a wedding venue, but they knew the facility would host many other events.

In 2024, they were inspired to hold a Masquerade Ball in February that could serve as a Valentines date.

“I wanted something fun that couples or friends could get together for, to dress up and have a night out,” Angela Holt said.

When the evening came, it was evident that the event would repeat itself.

“People loved it and have asked for us to have it again this year,” Holt said. “Everyone looked spectacular last year and participated and came dressed to impress.”

Limited tickets remain for the Feb. 22 Masquerade Dinner & Dance Valentines Event at Almost Heaven Barn, an event that includes dinner and dancing.

“We have J & P Catering again this year, courtesy of Penny and Joe, who do a fabulous job with the food,” Holt said. “And we have Dave from Braxton Entertainment who will be DJing for us and entertaining us on the dance floor as well.”

Limited tickets remain. The cost is $50 per person, which includes dinner consisting of baked ziti, meatballs, salad and bread. Also included are two drink tickets redeemable for beer or wine. Additional drink tickets can be purchased only with cash.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. and the event wraps up at 11 p.m. Groups of eight or 10 can reserve a table. Guests are invited and encouraged to wear masquerade masks. Masks will also be available for purchase at the event. A festive balloon arch will be set up.

Tickets can be purchased HERE at EventBrite.com. Almost Heaven Barn is located at 63 Jadewood Drive, Shinnston, just off Saltwell Road between Shinnston and Bridgeport.

Holt said she and her family certainly enjoyed the 2024 event and look forward to this year’s Masquerade Ball.

“It’s a great thing for me and my family because our adult kids also truly enjoy this event as well and there aren’t too many times that we can all go to something like this,” Holt said.
