Trio Transported for Treatment after Weekend Wreck

A weekend accident on Interstate 68 saw multiple individuals transported for medical treatment on a call for entrapment.
The call for the single-vehicle accident was in the westbound direction of I-68, according to the Bruceton Brandonville Volunteer Fire Department. The 911 call came in at 2:44 p.m. Saturday.
The vehicle, a white truck, was found in the median laying on its side. First responders reported it had heavy damage.
Upon arrival, two of the individuals in the vehicle were already out. However, a third person needed to be extricated. The three involved in the accident were transported for medical treatment.
There was no word on the condition of those involved. The accident did interrupt traffic as the scene was cleaned up and the transports were made.
Along with the Bruceton Brandonville VFD, other first responders on the scene included the West Virginia State Police, West Virginia Natural Resources Police, Monongalia County Sheriff's Office, Preston County Sheriff's Office, Lynx Ambulance, Monongalia County EMS KAMP Ambulance and the Brookhaven and Cheat Lake VFDs.
