Subject: Scam Alert: Fake WVSSAC Facebook Account
The WVSSAC has been made aware of fake social media (Facebook) accounts claiming to represent the WVSSAC and sharing links to live streams of high school football games. These links are not official and may be attempts to steal personal information or compromise devices.
Please remind your school communities, coaches, and parents to exercise caution when engaging with posts or accounts claiming to represent the WVSSAC.
The official WVSSAC Facebook page has over 32,000 followers. We encourage you to verify the page details before clicking on links or sharing posts. Any other accounts claiming to be the WVSSAC, or tagging schools in suspicious posts, should be reported to Facebook immediately.
