Winter Consignment Mom2Mom Sale Set for Feb. 16

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on February 07, 2025

A children’s consignment sale that started in 2023 and quickly became popular continues into 2025. And it is scheduled this month.

The Mom2Mom gently used baby and children’s item sale is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Benedum Civic Center. Those wishing to set up a table to sell items can call Bridgeport Parks and Recreation at 304-842-8240.

A registration fee of $10 secures your spot and includes an 8-foot table and two chairs. (Additional tables can be rented upon request, while available.) There are a few spots left, according to P&R Recreation Coordinator Amy Callahan.

“This has been a successful event for the local and surrounding community. We’re anticipating another big crowd,” she said.

Callahan said roughly 25 vendors have signed up. She added that some of the vendors have two tables.

The sale will feature baby and children’s clothing, maternity clothing, baby gear, and toys. Another notable feature benefiting the community is that sellers that have leftover items will be given the option to donate the items. Those clothing items will be donated to the Harrison County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program for children in need.

Shopping takes place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to event is free.

The City of Bridgeport sponsors the sale. The registration form is below. Callahan said a few more tables are available.

Editor's Note: Local and city officials and staff are shown taking a trailer full of clothing and other items at last year's event to be used by children and families in need.
