Five BHS Seniors Among YCF Scholarship Winners

Five Bridgeport High School students received scholarships administered by the Your Community Foundation according to a YCF press release.
 
Hannah Price was awarded the Flora O. Corpening Scholarship as well as the Catherine Flynn Morrison Memorial Scholarship.
 
Brooke Wagner also received a Flora O. Corpening Scholarship.
 
Alexander Imperial received The Jean and Laurence S. DeLynn Scholarship.
 
Luke Hatfield and Sarah Wright both received a Woodrow W. Woods Scholarship.
 
BHS alum Nicholas Strogen, who is currently attending the Michigan State College of Law, was awarded the J. Cecil Jarvis Memorial Scholarship.
 
A pair of Notre Dame seniors who reside in Bridgeport were also recipients with Matthew Ellis being awarded the Rusty Mazzie Memorial Scholarship as well as the Woodrow W. Woods Scholarship and Alessandro Cava receiving the Bobby Lee Secret Memorial Scholarship.
 
Also from Notre Dame, Sophia Fazzini was awarded the PFC Andrew Martin “Bo” Harper Memorial Scholarship and Bethany Knight received the Frances Scarcelli Tyler Scholarship.
 
Three other Harrison County students received a Woodrow W. Woods Scholarship in Lincoln’s Halli Toothman, Robert C. Byrd’s Matthew Howe and Liberty’s Miya Lantz.
