Frankie's Furry Friends: 5th Annual Run for the Paws 5K - and Pet Costume Contest - is Oct. 14

By Frankie Michelle Dennison on October 06, 2018 from Frankie's Furry Friends

Our 5th Annual Run for the Paws 5K Run or Walk is happening Sunday, October 14! This is one of our largest fundraisers of the year and helps us to continue supporting our mission to help the homeless animals of Harrison County. Fundraisers like this provide much-needed funding to run the shelter, including the veterinary care it takes for each animal.

It will be once again held at the Freedom Shelter at Veterans Memorial Park on Route 98 in Clarksburg.

Registration begins at noon and race beings at 2 p.m.

Also this year, we will be having a Pet Costume Contest after the race (Approximately 3:15 p.m). The three categories will be Scariest Costume, Funniest Costume and Most Original Costume. We will have people to judge - and because this is the first year - there is no entry fee to be in the contest.

You can email or mail the form or sign up online.

It is $20 to pre-register and $25 the day of the event.
