Frankie's Furry Friends: Bently the Rottweiler-Boxer is in Need of Forever Home

By Frankie Michelle Dennison on September 11, 2015 from Frankie's Furry Friends

Editor's Note: In this blog, Harrison County Humane Society Executive Director Frankie Dennison is sharing information about Bently, who is currently available for adoption. If you believe he is a good fit for your family and lifestyle, contact Dennison at director@hshcwv.org.

Bently is at best guess a Rottweiler - Boxer mix. He is the most gorgeous copper and caramel color. How can someone not fall in love with this big guy?! He is a big boy weighing in at 65 lbs. with a giant heart, great personality and very well behaved. He is house trained, loves to go for walks, LOVES people and sleeps with his very own pillow. His only shortcoming? Well he hates cats. We will not adopt him to a family with cats, and would ask he not have access at all to any cats. He also is very particular on what dogs he likes, so we think it best he go to an only pet home. But if you are an active person looking for a best friend- well he is your man! He has all of his vaccinations including rabies and is neutered. Someone please come forward and adopt him. He has been in the shelter for three months and that is way too long.

Thanks to a sponsorship from Combo Law Firm his adoption fee is only $40.
