Frankie's Furry Friends: Mutt Monday Featuring Cosmo and Muppet

By Frankie Michelle Dennison on December 04, 2017 from Frankie's Furry Friends

Cosmo is a 15-year-old neutered male shi-tzu. His mother had to go into assisted living, so he needed to come to us. He has some obvious health issues (including eye, skin and a tumor).

He will be adopted at a reduced fee thanks to Colombo Law - his care will be discussed at time of foster or adoption.

Muppet is a 15-year-old neutered male terrier (possibly some poodle) mix. He was a stray that was never reclaimed. He has some obvious health issues (including skin and and completely blind from cataracts). Great hearing and gets along pretty well for being visually impaired.

He will be adopted at a reduced fee thanks to Colombo Law - his care will be discussed at time of foster or adoption.

As much as we would love for them to get adopted-  even a foster home would be wonderful for these two boys. No older dog should have to spend their quiet years in a loud shelter-  but they are doing incredibly well.

Staff took them home together for Thanksgiving break and they did very well, slept mostly, and are even mostly house trained which is good for their age.

Please stop out to meet them.
