By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on May 13, 2022

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources is reporting as of this morning (Friday, May 13) the total number of  COVID-19 cases has increased to 505,528 with an increase of 491 new cases since the last update.

Friday's report shows the percentage of positive cases vs. tests given is 8.10 percent. The daily percent positive is at 7.94 percent (daily tests/confirmatory test results).

According to the DHHR website, Harrison County's numbers are at 20,062 (13,742 confirmed and 6,320 probable). Harrison County's active cases are at 79, there have been 19,730 recoveries and 253 deaths.
