Law Enforcement Announce Arrest Made and Charges Filed after Woman's Body Found in Area Friday

UPDATE: On Friday, March 21, 2025, Troopers of the Sutton Detachment developed information that led to the arrest of Christopher L. Lacey 
(59-year-old male from Burnsville, WV). Mr. Lacey was charged with Concealment of a Human Body and Failure to Render Aid in connection with the death of Belinda Riffle.

ORIGINAL: The West Virginia State Police is requesting assistance from the public after a woman was found dead Monday, March 17, in Braxton County. Law enforcement believe foul play is involved.
A press release from West Virginia State Police says that 36-year-old Belinda Dawn Riffle's body was found in a rural area. The area in question was Vernon Road.
