Bridgeport 9-11 Little League All-Stars Wrap Up TOSC Play With 4-3 Victory Against Tennessee

The state champion Bridgeport 9-11 Little League All-Stars recently wrapped up competition in The Tournament of State Champions in Wilson, North Carolina.
 
Bridgeport opened up TOSC play with a 13-3 loss to South Carolina.
 
Reed Cope had a double and an RBI against South Carolina. Riley Haddix, Brock Thompson and Ty Koon all added one hit.
 
Game 2 of the TOSC saw Bridgeport fall 9-0 to North Carolina. In the loss, Cam Nicewarner and Haddix each had a hit.
 
In Game 3 at the TOSC, Bridgeport picked up a 4-3 victory against Tennessee. Haddix had a base hit for the third straight game, while Nicewarner, Parker Tuttle and Parker Johnson all had singles.
 
Tuttle and Johnson each had an RBI, as did Collin Benson and Thompson.
 
Nicewarner picked up the win on the mound, scattering six hits over 5 1-3 innings with six strikeouts. Haddix earned a save, pitching the final 2-3 innings without allowing a baserunner.
 
Other members of the Bridgeport 9-11 All-Stars are Walker Horne, Reed Hurst, Callen Doddrill and Summer Rubenstein.
