Photos: Balanced Attack Leads BHS Softball Team to 16-6 Victory Against Robert C. Byrd

The Bridgeport High School softball team defeated Robert C. Byrd, 16-6, on Friday to improve to 4-3.
Mia Gibson, Maddie Fittro, Renzy Pethtel and Sadie Hamrick all had two hits apiece to lead the Indians' offense. Gibson drove in three runs, while Hamrick, Fittro, Pethtel and Kennedy Wolfe all had two RBIs.
Kyleigh Anderson was the winning pitcher, scattering five hits over five innings with three strikeouts. She also scored three runs and stole three bases.
