homemade pizza dough being tossed into the air in front of me. I have a special appreciation for restaurants that don an open kitchen. To me, that means that they have nothing to hide and take pride in the cleanliness and orderliness of their kitchens. Owner Robert Haislip was more than happy to demonstrate his hand tossing skills for the camera. 
the appetizer for a piece of it. Bonus? Roberto’s serves all of their desserts with a scoop of vanilla gelato.
