My name is Stacy Martin and I have been calling Bridgeport my home for nearly 16 years now. I received my B.S. in Economics and M.S. in Industrial Labor Relations from West Virginia University in 1993 and 1994 respectively. I received my Juris Doctorate of Law from Capital University Law School in 1997. I worked as an Assistant Prosecutor for approximately 8 years in Randolph and Upshur Counties and worked for the Law Firm Eckert, Seamans, Cherin & Mellott, PLLC for approximately 4 years. I currently stay at home to help raise my children ages 8, 7, and 4. I was raised by a mother who dedicated her time to raising our family and volunteering in her community and for national organizations. She has always been an inspiration to me and I hope I am for my children as well. I am a board member of the Johnson Elementary PTA and I have been a member of the G.F.W.C. Bridgeport Junior Woman's Club for 12 years serving as President of the Club from 2006-2008 and in various positions at the State level since 2008. I am currently the Conservation chairman for the Bridgeport Juniors and have been since 2008. I believe we all have the power to change tomorrow and look forward to further educating myself and the community of Bridgeport on every aspect of Conservation and how we can help by writing this blog.
