This is indeed a problem in Bridgeport, especially at the top of Rebecca Road, where numerous inconsiderate neighbors let their cats run wild. We routinely find them on our cars, inside our open garages, and fighting with other cats on our front porches. Enforcement is also an issue as some cops don't always know the laws or want to address it. The current Bridgeport city code should apply: 505.06 RUNNING AT LARGE - No person shall permit any animal or fowl owned, harbored or maintained by him to run at large within the City limits. (1976 Code Sec. 4-5)
