BHS Sectional Baseball Contest with Preston Moved

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on May 06, 2024

According to Bridgeport High School Athletic Director and Assistant Principal Tom Sears, today's sectional baseball game will not be played at Bridgeport High School.

Sears reported that the game between No. 1 Seed Bridgeport and No. 4 Seed Preston is being played at Frank Loria.

The first pitch is 5:30 p.m.

The reason for the move, according to Sears, is the inclement weather over the weekend, as well as rain being predicted for this afternoon and early evening. Frank Loria's surface, both infield and outfield, is turf.
