Bridgeport Middle Opens 2026 Softball Season Today

After several flex practices, four days of tryouts, and numerous team practices the Bridgeport Middle School Braves are ready for the start of the 2026 softball season.
The Lady Braves open their season at home versus the Taylor County Knights, today, Tuesday, March 24. First pitch is setfor 5:30 p.m.
The next day, they travel to Fairmont to take on the East Fairmont Lady Hornets at Wave Tek Park. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
The members of the team are Brianna Bailey, Sydnie Buffington, Scarlett Callison, Olivia Chapman, Audrey Corder, Payton Fisher, Olivia Fittro, Molly Frenzel, Amelia Green, Julie Hall, Raylee Hawkins, Sophia Humble, Gwenyth Martin, Nora Martin, Zoey Raymond, Aubree Owens, Rose Mary Owens, Samara Smith, Brookly Swiger, and Chloe Via.
Returning as Assistant Softball Coach is Gregory Douglass and as Head Coach is Billy Estok.
