Beacon Wealth Management continues its series of recent financial education presentations for local organizations and professional groups
The firm presented to several respected organizations in March, including the Monongahela Valley Dental Society (President Allison Wilson), the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce's Business at Breakfast (President Kathy Wagner), Frontier Local Union 2010 (Vice President Greg Stevens), and the Shinnston Development Authority (President James Coulter). Each event provided a opportunity to connect with local professionals and share financial strategies designed to support long-term success.
Across these engagements, the firm presented “The Four Forces Working Against Financial Freedom: Chaos, Erosion, Exposure, and Default.” The presentation explored how these forces can impact financial outcomes and emphasized the importance of proactive planning to help protect and grow wealth.
"These types of events are incredibly meaningful to our firm,” said John Halterman. “While Beacon Wealth Management serves clients nationwide, West Virginia is home. It’s where our team was born and raised, and we believe it’s our responsibility to help educate and support the communities in our own backyard.

Beacon Wealth Management welcomed clients, community members, and local professionals to its Bridgeport office for a hands-on educational event, Wisdom to Wealth: Spring Cleaning Your Finances, focused on helping individuals simplify and organize their financial lives.
The session was led by Wealth Advisor and AIF® Accredited professional Ryan Grogg, who guided attendees through Beacon’s wealth portal—an all-in-one, centralized digital platform designed to bring clarity and structure to personal finances.
During the presentation, Grogg demonstrated how the portal allows individuals and families to store important financial documents, track assets, and organize key information in one secure location. The platform also enables users to document important relationships with financial professionals, creating a system that ensures information is accessible when it’s needed most.
"This is one of the ways we help address what we call ‘chaos,’ one of the key forces that can impact financial success,” said Grogg. “When everything is scattered or unclear, it becomes difficult to make informed decisions. The portal brings everything into one place so clients can move forward with more confidence."
The event was designed to be interactive, giving attendees the opportunity to see the system inaction and better understand how it can support their day-to-day financial organization and long-term planning.
