City Faces in Different Places

Bridgeport is very fortunate to have unique restaurants and shopping. Jade Meagher is the owner of one of the new restaurant s in the city. Please take a moment to meet my friend Jade.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Ten years
Where are you originally from? Jade is originally from Wheeling. She moved to Belington in 1985. She is a 1992 graduate of Phillip Barbour High School. She obtained her Marketing degree from Wheeling Jesuit University in 1996.
Are you married? Yes, to Tim Meagher. Jade and Tim have been married for 14 years. Tim is from Damascus, Maryland. He attended East Carolina University and obtained his Exercise and Sports Science degree in 1997.
Children? Two - Christian, 13, is an eighth grader at BMS. He plays soccer and lacrosse. Sarah, 10, is in fourth grade at Johnson. She enjoys dance and piano.
What is your favorite color? She can’t choose one, she likes them all.
Where do you work? Jade and Tim Meagher are the owners and operators of Meagher’s Irish Pub in Charles Pointe.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Meagher’s Irish Pub
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? The inside of a WV Coal Mine (daughter of a Coal mining Family) and The Greenbrier Resort for its history and beauty. She also loves to go to Tygart Lake to relax on a boat while spending time with family and friends.
Favorite place outside of WV? Maui and Oahu, Hawaii 
Favorite restaurant? SW Steakhouse at the Wynn Las Vegas is her favorite but enjoys all the restaurants at the Wynn. Locally, she prefers Meagher's Irish Pub.
Best childhood memory? Jade fondly remembers traveling to Canada for family vacation where she would fish with her Pappy Ed.
Pets? Boxer named Sadie and a rabbit named Snowflake
Hobbies? Spending time with family, traveling as much as she can and entertaining her friends and family are Jade’s passions.
Interesting fact about you? Jade traveled across the country for a month and a half with Tim after knowing him for only six months in a two door hatch back car with no AC in the middle of the summer. They camped all but three nights of the trip. They feel their relationship was meant to be after making the long trip together.
In addition to traveling across the country, Jade has visited Europe and many Caribbean islands.
