City Faces in Different Places

By Michelle Duez on February 01, 2015 from City Faces

City Faces in Different Places sponsored by Bridgeport Annuity Exchange

Bridgeport High School is not foreign to successful alumni.  Kylie Kiefer is a BHS graduate that has a track record of success.  Please take a moment to meet my friend Kylie.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Kylie has lived in Bridgeport her entire life.  She is a BHS 2007 graduate.  She obtained her Associates in Nursing in 2009 and Bachelors of Nursing in 2012 at Fairmont State University.  She is currently enrolled at WVU working on a Master of Science in Nursing degree, with the specialty emphasis of Family Nurse Practitioner.  She plans to graduate in May 2016 with her FNP.

Family? Kylie is the daughter of Kristi and Jim Kiefer. Kristi is the Associate Athletic Director, Head Acrobatics & Tumbling Coach and Senior Woman Administrator for the Athletic Department at Fairmont State University.  Jim owns and operates The Practice Cage in Clarksburg.  Her brother Kash, 28, in an entrepreneur in Las Vegas, and brother, Koby, is freshman at BHS.  Koby plays football, basketball and baseball.

What is your favorite color? Pink

Where do you work? Kylie is a WVU Master in Nursing student.  She most recently participated in a traveling nurse program. Kylie worked as an RN in Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles and Maui.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? Kylie enjoys walking and running on the city trail system.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  Morgantown – she likes staying in touch and visiting with friends, its restaurants and shopping.

Favorite place outside of WV? San Diego, California for its overall atmosphere and beaches.

Favorite restaurant?  Outback

Best childhood memory?  Winning a National NCA Cheerleading Championship in 2010 while cheering for Fairmont State University is a memory Kylie will always cherish.

Favorite musical group? Taylor Swift

Pets?  Two dogs - Khloee, a Morkie and Baila, a cute mutt.

Hobbies? Exercise, travel, and spending time with friends and family are Kylie’s hobbies.

Interesting fact about you?  She’s been to 42 out of the 50 United States of America.  She hopes to finish visiting all the states sooner than later.
