City Faces in Different Places

By Michelle Duez on March 08, 2015 from City Faces

Generosity is no stranger to many residents of Bridgeport.  Jennifer Blair is busy mother of three and makes volunteer work a priority.  Please take a moment to meet my friend Jennifer.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Jennifer has lived in Bridgeport on and off her entire life.  Raised in Bridgeport, moved away after high school and returned in 2005.  Jennifer graduated from BHS in 1997.

Are you married? Yes, to Keith Blair.  Keith is originally from Parkersburg.  He is a 1995 graduate of Parkersburg South High School.  He also graduated from WVU in 1999 with a Political Science degree.

Children? 3Three children – Zoey, 16, sophomore at BHS; River, 8, in second grade at Johnson and Canyon, one.  Zoey is very active with her FBC church youth programs and works at Chick Fil A.  River plays in several basketball leagues and plays soccer.

What is your favorite color? Yellow

Where do you work? Jennifer is an active volunteer and mother of three children.  She loves to make cake pops for her family and friends.  She has considered opening her own business in the future.  She also is a Stella and Dot independent jewelry consultant.  She is a member of the GFWC Bridgeport Junior Woman’s Club.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? City Park because it’s a great place to spend time with her family.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Cooper’s Rock is a favorite.  She likes the tranquility of the area and hiking.

Favorite place outside of WV? Jennifer and her husband have been on several mission trips to Haiti.  It has become a favorite destination for the couple.

Favorite restaurant? PF Changs

Best childhood memory? Moving to Florida when she was in third grade is a fond memory.  She remembers loving the palm trees and the ocean.

Favorite musical group?  Jennifer enjoys a variety of music.  City in Color, Alt-J, Taylor Swift and Civil Wars are a few of her current favorites.

Pets? A dog named Bella

Hobbies? Baking, reading, and spending time with her family are her hobbies.

Interesting fact about you? When Jennifer was twenty years old, she made the brave decision to move to California.  She drove across the country in a week visiting many national monuments and attractions along the way.  Her favorite was the Grand Canyon.
