City Faces in Different Places

City Park is always teeming with activity from dawn to dusk. Today I had the great fortune of meeting Devany Bonaventura and her daughter, Bailee. Please take a moment to meet my new friend Devany.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Two years 
Where are you originally from? Fairmont – Devany is a 2008 graduate of East Fairmont High School and 2012 graduate of Fairmont State University/Pierpont with a degree in Medical Administration and Office Management.
Are you married? Devany is married to Jeff Bonaventura. Jeff is a 2002 Brooke High School graduate and 2008 FSU graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering. Jeff is from Follansbee.
Children? One daughter, Bailee, is two years old.
What is your favorite color? Blue
Where do you work? Devany is a program assistant II at Fairmont State University in the Administration building.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? City Park because it’s a nice place to go as a family. The park offers nice programs, like free movies in the park, it has nice playgrounds, picnic pavilions and it’s a great place to walk the dogs.
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? The Tygart River in Fairmont where she grew up. Devany grew up on the river and loves knee boarding, wake boarding, etc.
Favorite place outside of WV? Florida for its warm weather, sunshine and beaches.
Favorite restaurant? Texas Roadhouse, she often orders the ribs.
Best childhood memory? Hanging out on the Tygart River with family and friends.
Favorite musical group? Country music is her favorite and she loves Jason Aldean
Pets? Two boxers named Cole and Easton
Hobbies? Working out, singing and river sports such as boating, knee boarding and wake boarding
Interesting fact about you? Devany values her family and believes family comes first. Her relationship with God is also very important.
