Please take a moment to meet this week's City Face, Troy Pallay.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Twelve years; Troy is a 2015 BHS graduate. He will be attending WVU in the fall as a computer and electrical engineering major.
Where are you originally from? Troy was born in Kansas and moved to Bridgeport from Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Family? Son of Allyson and Michael Pallay; brothers Weston, 20, a sophomore at Cornell and Vance, one year old; sister, 11, Laura will be in 6th grade at BMS.
What is your favorite color? Green
Where do you work? Bridgeport City Pool
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Hinkle and Deegan Lakes
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Morgantown, WVU campus – Troy has attended many academic competitions at WVU. It’s become a familiar place and he looks forward to being a student there this fall.
Favorite place outside of WV? Washington, DC – Troy loves to run in DC as well as visit the monuments and museums.
Favorite restaurant? Muriales
Best childhood memory? Going sled riding with his brother Weston at his grandparent’s home in Farmington, Pennsylvania is a fond memory.
Favorite musical group? Troy listens to many genres of music.
Pets? Two cats, Shiloh and Cupcake
Hobbies? Program computers, running, pole vaulting and video games
Interesting fact about you? He has many allergies. He cannot have eggs, nuts milk or soy just to name a few. He was a member of the back to back Boys Cross Country Championship Teams in 2013, 2014 and a member of the Boys Track Championship Team in 2014.
