Please take a moment to get to know this week’s City Face, James Carr:
 
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Two years 
 
Where are you originally from? Salem – James is a 1995 Liberty High School graduate.  He obtained his Agriculture and Environmental Education degree from WVU in 1998 and a Masters in Agriculture in 1999.
 
Are you married? No
 
What is your favorite color? Black
 
Where do you work? James is the owner of Carr Designs where he does web, media and graphic design.
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Riversong Spa – he takes yoga on Tuesday nights at 6 pm.
 
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Raven Rock at Cooper’s Rock State Park
 
Favorite place outside of WV? James likes Boston because of its arts and culture climate, great food.  He also thinks they have a great subway system.
 
Favorite restaurant? El Rey
 
Best childhood memory?  James has fond memories of listening and talking on his grandfather’s ham radio.  He attributes his early interest in the internet with his radio experiences.
 
Favorite music? Grunge rock
 
Pets? A beagle named Mokey.
 
Hobbies? Photography, audio recording and mixing
 
Interesting fact about you?  James is a semi-professional photographer.  He has been involved in several short-film projects in West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Boston as a co-producer and co-director and cinematographer. He hopes to produce a feature-length film and/or documentary.
