City Faces in Different Places

Please take a moment to meet this week’s City Face, Jessica Jenkins.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Jessica doesn’t live in Bridgeport; however, she works in the city about four days a week.
Where are you originally from? Jessica is from Clarksburg. She is a 2014 Robert C. Byrd High School graduate and currently a sophomore at Fairmont State University. She is studying community health education. Jessica is the daughter of Melissa and Jeffrey Jenkins of Clarksburg.
Are you married? No 
Children? None
What is your favorite color? Orange
Where do you work? Jessica is a barista at Almost Heaven Desserts and Coffee Shop in Bridgeport. She has worked there two years.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Almost Heaven Desserts and Coffee Shop is her favorite place in the city. She finds it to be relaxing and appreciates her pleasant customers.
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Jessica chooses Cooper’s Rock State Park. She loves the view and feels it’s a great place to be outside and enjoy the fresh air.
Favorite place outside of WV? Virginia Beach gets kudos from Jessica. She likes going to the beach with her family. Her dad was stationed at Fort Story in the National Guard for three years and she always had a good time visiting him in this area on weekends.
Favorite restaurant? Texas Roadhouse and the Blooming Onion is her favorite dish.
Best childhood memory? Spending time on military bases with her dad holds fond memories. Her dad was stationed in Virginia and Indiana and she enjoyed the unique feel of being in a military community.
Favorite musical group? Country is her favorite genre and Colt Ford is her favorite artist.
Pets? A female Yorkie mix named Rocket
Hobbies? Babysitting
Interesting fact about you? Jessica knows how to rebuild car engines. She learned from her father and he since rebuilt her Jeep engine.
