City Faces in Different Places

By Michelle Duez on June 19, 2016 from City Faces

Happy Father's Day!

Please take a moment to meet this week’s City Face Kenny Edwards, sponsored by Higinbotham & Higinbotham:

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Kenny is born and raised in Bridgeport.  He has lived here his entire life.  Kenny graduated from BHS in 2009.  He earned his degree in Education from Fairmont State University in 2013 and his Master’s in Education from WVU in 2015.

Are you married? Yes, to Hannah Cantrell. Kenny and Hannah were married in September 2015 at All Saints Catholic Church. Hannah graduated from BHS in 2009.

What is your favorite color? Red

Where do you work? Kenny is an 8th grade history teacher at Bridgeport Middle School.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? Fishing at Hinkle and Deegan Lakes

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Kenny and his dad have enjoyed fishing at Burnsville Lake.

Favorite place outside of WV? St. Augustine has history, unique restaurants and has a small town feel for a big city making it Kenny’s favorite place outside of West Virginia.

Favorite restaurant? Gourmet Cafe

Best childhood memory? Riding four-wheelers with his dad around Corbin Branch provided good memories for Kenny.

Favorite musical group? Kenny listens to all kinds of music.

Pets? none

Hobbies? Fishing and shooting are things Kenny likes to do in his spare time.

Interesting fact about you? Kenny is left-handed and as a result he’s become ambidextrous.  Many things set up for right-handed people and he quickly learned to adapt.
