City Faces in Different Places

Please take a moment to meet this week’s City Face Lisa Hedrick Zirkle, sponsored by Higinbotham & Higinbotham:
 
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Lisa has lived in Bridgeport about fifty-four years, since the age of three.  She is a 1977 BHS graduate.
 
Where are you originally from? Adamston 
 
Are you married? Yes, to Randy.  Randy is originally from Canton, Ohio.  His family moved to Bridgeport when he was in eighth grade.  He too is a 1977 BHS graduate.  They started dating after their BHS Fifth Year Reunion. They were married at Simpson Creek Baptist Church in 1985.
 
Children? Lisa and Randy have two sons.  Logan, 22, is a senior at WVU studying Finance.  He played baseball for BHS and graduated in 2013.  Preston, 18, will be a freshman at WVU.  He is a 2016 BHS graduate. 
 
What is your favorite color? Yellow
 
Where do you work? Lisa is a part-time administrative assistant for the City of Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Department. 
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot? The walking trail at the Bridgeport Recreation Complex is a favorite of hers as she enjoys the scenic beauty and constant breeze.
 
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Her family has enjoyed fishing, boating and camping together at Burnsville Lake.
 
Favorite place outside of WV? Lisa loves to vacation at Myrtle Beach and hopes to make it a permanent residence in the future.  She enjoys the variety of things to do, restaurants, ocean activities and family time.
 
Favorite restaurant? Mountaineer Grille for Blue and Gold Shrimp
 
Best childhood memory? Going to the Bridgeport Fireman’s Fair with her dad and eating hot dogs and playing Bingo is a fond memory for Lisa.
 
Favorite musical group? Jon Bon Jovi
 
Pets? A dog named Millie and a cat named Reese
 
Hobbies? Reading and following her kids activities
 
Interesting fact about you? Lisa retired from the CIty of Bridgeport after twenty-five years of service. She worked in the police department for eighteen years and the finance department for seven years.
