City Faces in Different Places

Please take a moment to meet this week’s City Face Kristina Robinson, sponsored by Higinbotham & Higinbotham, PLLC:
 
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Kristina has lived in Bridgeport since she was seven years old.  Her mom was a teacher at WIHS therefore, she attended and is a 1991 Washington and Irving High School graduate.  She obtained her degree in psychology from Fairmont State University in 1995 and her Masters in Counseling in 1998. 
 
Where are you originally from? North View
 
Are you married? Yes, to Ed Robinson.  They were married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Stonewood in 1997.  Ed is a 1986 Lincoln High School graduate. 
 
Children?  Kristina and Ed have two sons - Dominick and Antonio. They are in fourth grade at Simpson Elementary and enjoy travel soccer and Bridgeport Jerry West Basketball.
 
What is your favorite color? Black
 
Where do you work? Guidance Counselor at Bridgeport High School
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Deegan Lake is her favorite Bridgeport spot because of its calming and peaceful atmosphere.
 
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  The shopping in Morgantown is diverse, making it her favorite out of town place in West Virginia.
 
Favorite place outside of WV? Kristina enjoys traveling to Pittsburgh for shopping and the arts.  She and her mom like to frequent shows in the ‘Burgh.
 
Favorite restaurant? Twin Oaks – her family eats there several nights a week.
 
Best childhood memory?  Kristina’s parents were both teachers and summers off from school.  She remembers being together as family fondly.
 
Favorite musical group? She listens to hip-hop and loves Tony Bennett.
 
Pets? Two dogs – a rescue dog named Johnny Long-Legs and a Sheltie named Sonny
 
Hobbies? Running, reading, shopping and family
 
Interesting fact about you? Kristina is double-jointed aka hyper-mobile.  She had to have shoulder surgery because of her loose joints.
